My alarm clock (or my newborn, Carson) goes off sometime between the bars closing and Jesus getting up...and my feet hit the floor running. Although I feel like the chubby mouse, Gus, on Cinderella carrying too many pieces of corn every now and again, I absolutely LOVE being a wife and a new mom. I have found that some things just don't matter anymore...like the condition of the plastic container cabinet, the overgrown flower beds, and the dust on my car. And then there are the things that are heaven sent...gift cards to eat out,the running water app on my phone, and hairs long enough to put in a pony tail!
I studied Radiologic Technology in college. It was not only a science, but an art. That was where my love for photography grew. I wanted to do more than look at the physical inside, I wanted to capture life on the outside and have it reflect how they were feeling on the inside. My photo sessions will be as unique as your family, but one thing I want all my shoots to be is fun! Everything will take place on location (except newborn sessions), so there are lots of possibilities. Downtown, big open fields or urban areas are great choices! I am also up for abandoned buildings if we can find a cool one and you feel like being brave!
I should probably tell you that I have a day job! I am a Radiation Therapist. I treat cancer patients with high-energy x-rays. Annnnd frown face- GO! No, don't! I LOVE my job! I am extremely passionate about cancer patients and their care. I have such an amazing opportunity to touch so many lives. And, often times, my life is touched by these wonderful people who demonstrate unbelievable strength, courage, and perseverance!
